Say 'hello' to the new and largest Mastervolt Lithium-Ion batteries

The MLI Ultra 12/3000, the MLI Ultra 12/6000 and the MLI Ultra 24/6000 are Mastervolt’s largest Lithium-Ion batteries to date. Developed to be large capacity, deep-cycle domestic supply batteries for use onboard boats or in mobile applications, they provide more power, over a longer period of time, whilst taking up less space and weight.  
 
Lithium-Ion battery technology offers an alternative that is suitable for so many - from racing yachts trying to keep weight to a minimum, to the camper that wants to stay off-grid for as long as possible, and to the growing market of hybrid and electric boats and vehicles.

Superior Lithium performance - the key stats


•    A realistic lifespan of over 3500 cycles 
•    20 % more energy density (compared to Mastervolt’s previous largest models)
•    15 % more capacity in Amp hours (compared to Mastervolt’s previous largest models)
•    Can safely use up to 80 % of their capacity before needing to be recharged
•    5x more energy storage than lead acid batteries
•    Can be recharged within 60 minutes.

 

Lithium is light 

Designed and engineered with an un-matched energy-to-weight ratio, these new batteries weigh 20 % less than previous models. 


•    The MLI Ultra 3000 weighs just 25.4 kg 
•    The MLI Ultra 6000 impressively stays under 50 kg at 46.4 kg

What this means in practice is that the new MLI Ultra 24/6000, weighing only 46.4 kg, is a suitable replacement for two 12/200 Ah lead-acid gel batteries (in series to provide 24 volt) weighing 140 kg – a reduction of almost 100 kg!

From the large capacity MLI 6000 down to the compact MLI 1250, the Mastervolt MLI Series deliver exceptional Lithium-Ion performance in challenging conditions such as wet environments, extreme vibrations, and mechanical shocks. They are fully equipped for punishing repetitive cycles, like running air-conditioning, pumps, or electric motors for long periods of time, and yet can fully recharge within 60 minutes. All this is made possible by Mastervolt being able to combine the best Lithium-Iron phosphate (LiFePO4) cells with a superior Battery Management System inside an ergonomic and sturdy casing.
