The T5, formerly the CANvu 500/Veecan 500, is designed as an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) product, and is not available direct to end users. It has a slim-line profile housing a hi-resolution 5-inch projected capacitive touch customizable color screen delivering modern tablet like aesthetics. Meeting the need for tough, flexible instrumentation while offering high performance and design specifications.

The WVGA (800×480) PCAP LCD color display can be viewed in full sunlight and the ruggedized unit is sealed to meet IP 67 standards. With dual CAN, Ethernet and Video supported the display is suited to a wide range of applications. External buttons can be added via a compatible CAN keypad.

 

 

High performance custom software applications can be rapidly created using the software development kit (SDK). Alternatively our internal Software Engineering team can build custom applications for you, from an integrated control & monitoring system using data logging & alarm functionality to specific application based HMI relaying to Multi Function Displays.

 

Telematics

In today’s connected world the display can form part of a Telematics solution, utilising its data logging capability software can be custom built as required to push raw logs to a Cloud server which can then be simply downloaded or refined to a full HTML graphical interface. Most connectivity options can be utilised connecting via the displays Ethernet port to WiFi or 2G/3G modules.
