Built by the Australian LAB Power Boats (formerly LAB Sports Boats) in 1990.

 

Trimaran speed boat, 17 Ft (5.2m) long with fixed aluminium stabilising flaps. It has a factory reinforced inox ski pylon with struts, internal metal fuel tank (100 litres) and seating for 5 people. The outboard is a 2.600cc Yamaha Excel V6 2.600cc two-stroke, the first computerized on the market, with variable timing & variable horsepower 225-265 Hp.

Extra equipment of outboard engine (2.600cc Yamaha Excel V6 2.600cc two-stroke engine with 150 hours of use)

 

1. Big Foot nose cone with low water pick-up for better hydrodynamics of the outboard foot and for proper cooling at high speeds when the boat is "flying".

2. Mazco handmade inox 27 pitch foam propeller with external exhaust flow, custom made specifically for LAB 17' and Yamaha excel.

3. Handmade engine protection system in case an unauthorized person attempts to start the engine.

4. Special water trap and filter in the power supply circuit
