A new unique innovative custom-ready fin design
Humphree stabilising fins brings state of the art technology with fast acting brushless electric servo units. Powered by 24 V DC it gives you possibility to have full comfort without the need of genset running. The new Humphree fin design has its upper edge made solid, another unique Humphree innovation.
The common need to cut the fin to avoid touching the hull is now very easy as no lamination is required. Simply cut the thin solid part of the fin to required shape and it is ready to be installed. It is further possible to reach a better tolerance of the modification compared to the traditional cutting/fiberglass work.
Combining the Humphree fin system with our interceptors and you have a full stabilisation system for roll, pitch and yaw motions. For best control and lowest fuel burn.
The 0.60m2 fins are designed to suit our fast SU-553 electric servo unit and for single pair installation only

The 360° rotation allows Humphree to rotate the fins 180° and gently pull the anchor when anchored at the bow. This minimise the so called anchor walk and will keep the bow against the wind to a noticeable extent reducing waves coming from the side.

Stabilisation without a genset engine
As this system is 100% powered by 24V DC, the system can be operated without a genset running at zero speed. Running directly of your battery bank.
Sturdy and robust, low built-in height and remarkable low weight
The new sturdy patanted servo actuators are extremly compact. The space requirement inside the vessel is less than the most compact hydraulic fin stabiliser systems on the market. A depth of only 310mm from exterior mounting flange. Compared to the competition, the Humphree fin system is typically 25-50% lighter as a result of the 24V power and the unique design.
Integration with Interceptors - Stabilisation at all speeds
The combined fin and interceptor system provides full roll stabilisation att all speeds, from zero and low speeds, all the way up to top speed. Compared to other systems in the market, this unique combination of interceptors and fins stabilise both roll and pitch motions underway. Enjoy the maximum comfort of the new generation!

A slightly bigger fin will improve the zero speed stabilisation, which is recommended if the vessel has a top speed below 35 knots.
The 0.60-1.00m2 fins are designed to suit our fast SU-553 electric servo unit.
The SU-563 servo is developed for the larger 1.30m2 and 1.50m2 fins.

Quad installation
The Humphree fin system can be configured with 4 fins operating as an integrated system for bigger vessels. The system will synchronize the operation between them without the need of extra configuration, just plug and play.
