The Neander Dtorque 50 offers service intervals of 250 hours versus the 100 hours on an equivalent gasoline outboard, meaning you can focus on day to day operations.

 

Life made easier, cleaner and greener. With full compliance with EU RDC Stage II regulations, the Dtorque 50 is a low emissions outboard engine. Besides using on average 40% less fuel than equivalent gasoline outboards, a huge advantage to running a Neander Dtorque 50 is the ability to access low emissions zones.

Refined Engineering for Unrefined Environments.

 

 

 

The Dtorque has been engineered from scratch, utilising innovative new technologies to deliver optimum performance even in the most challenging environments.

 

1. Dual Crankshaft Design

The patented dual crankshaft design eliminates the rolling moment and most of the inertia forces and thus strong vibrations typically found in conventional diesel engines.

 

2. Aluminium Cylinder Block

The cylinder block of the engine is an Aluminum design. A closed deck with pressed-in dry cast iron cylinder sleeves, this feature optimises servicability and protection.

 

3. Automatic Thermomanagement System

The Automatic Thermo-Management System manages engine temperatures and further reduces the risk of engine downtime due to overheating.

 

4. Bosch Common Rail Fuel System

The Bosch Common Rail fuel system enables quick and direct injection of fuel into the engine cylinders. The sytem delivers greater power and efficiency whilst minimising generation of noise, vibration and smoke.

 

5. PTT

The PTT on the Neander Dtorque 50 Outboard Engine features a universal bolting pattern. This enables easy retrofitting where customers wish to keep their existing vessel. This is ideal for fleets with high running hours (i.e. service boards for off shore oil rigs).

 

6. Optimised Oil Cooling

Our lower unit features a unique oil cooling system. Within the oil pan, we have included internal fins. This helps us optimise the oil cooling process.

 

7.Deep Gear Ratio

With a deep gear ratio, the Dtorque 50 and push higher displacements more efficiently. The deep gear ratio helps reduce loss of power and enables the engine to operate more economically.
